INGREDIENTS

  • 1.3 lbs. boneless chicken breast
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • 1 ½ cups chicken broth
  • 2 boiled potatoes, cut in rounds
  • 3 slices of bread, without crust
  • 2 3 tbsp. 2 tbsp. chopped pecans
  • 1.2 oz. grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 hardboiled eggs
  • 4 olives
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 packet (1.79 oz) Q’ocina en Casa Yellow Sofrito Culinary Base

PREPARATION

1-amarillo

Boil chicken breast in 2 ½ cups water with salt for 20 to 25 mins. Remove breast, shred chicken (thick chunks), and reserve chicken broth.

2-amarillo

In a blender, add evaporated milk, bread slices, pecans, chicken broth, and contents of one packet of Q’ocina en Casa Yellow Sofrito Culinary Base.Blend until achieving a firm texture. Reserve.

3-amarillo

Pour the reserved preparation into a pan over medium heat. After reaching a boil, add shredded chicken. Stir until ingredients are well-mixed and remove from heat.

4-amarillo

Add grated Parmesan cheese and salt to taste.

5-amarillo

To serve, put 2 parboiled potato rounds and yellow chili pepper preparation on a plate, and decorate with two hardboiled egg quarters and olives to taste. 

TIP:

  • Serve with arroz graneado (rice prepared so that the grains do not stick together) or iceberg lettuce.

Nota: 1 tz = 250 ml
