INGREDIENTS

  • 24 chicken wings
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • ¼ cup white vinegar
  • 1.8 oz. butter
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. corn starch diluted in 2 tbsp. cooled boiled water
  • 12 stalks celery
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 1 packet (1.79 oz) Q’ocina en Casa Red Sofrito Culinary Base

PREPARATION

Season with salt and pepper, cover with oil, and fry, roast, or grill wings until completely cooked. Reserve.

In a pot, melt butter over low heat. Add vinegar, water, contents of one packet of Q'ocina en Casa Red Sofrito Culinary Base and honey. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly until reduced by half.

Finish by adding diluted corn starch and stirring constantly until forming a sauce. Remove from heat.

In a bowl, add wings and sauce, mixing with tongs until every piece is covered with sauce.

Serve buffalo wings accompanied with celery sticks.

TIP:

  • If desired, accompany with ranch dressing and carrot sticks.

  • Corn starch can be replaced with ground chuño.

Nota: 1 tz = 250 ml
