INGREDIENTS

  • 1.3 lbs. chicken fillet, cut into cubes (approx. ¾ x ¾ in.)
  • 2 papas blancas (white potatoes), cut into cubes
  • ½ cup peas
  • 1 carrot, cut into cubes (2/5 x 2/5 in.)
  • 3 cups chicken broth or water
  • 1 tbsp. chopped spearmint
  • 1 tbsp. finely chopped parsley
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 packet (1.79 oz) Q’ocina en Casa Yellow Sofrito Culinary Base

PREPARATION

1-amarillo

In a pan with the chicken broth or water boiling, dilute the contents of one packet of Q’ocina en Casa Yellow Sofrito Culinary Base.Add potato cubes and stir. Cook for approx. 15 mins. over medium heat with pan covered.

2-amarillo

Add chicken cubes, carrots, and peas. Cook for 10 mins. until thoroughly done.

3-amarillo

Finally, add chopped spearmint and parsley. Add salt to taste and remove from heat.

TIP:

  • Serve on a flat plate and decorate with chopped parsley..
