INGREDIENTS

  • 1.1 lbs. ground beef
  • 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
  • ½ cup red vinegar
  • 8 blended tomatoes
  • 1.15 lbs. cooked red kidney beans
  • 3 oz. chopped smoked bacon
  • 1 yellow chili pepper, whole
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1 ½ cdas de azúcar rubia
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • ½ de tz de culantro o cilantro picado para decorar (aprox. 25 g)
  • 1 packet (1.79 oz) Q’ocina en Casa Red Sofrito Culinary Base

PREPARATION

In a pan with hot oil, sear ground beef and chopped bacon for 5 mins., then remove preparation and reserve in a separate container.

Next, add the yellow chili pepper (whole) and sugar. Cook for 10 more mins. and remove from heat.

Finally, add salt and pepper to taste.

Serve and garnish with chopped cilantro.

TIP:

  • Si desea decorar con trozos de tocino ahumado horneado o frito.

  • Servir con palta (aguacate), cebolla en juliana, tortillas de maíz o pan pita.
